The "Double High Plan" is an important measure to promote the high-quality development of higher vocational colleges, and vocational libraries bear the heavy responsibility of providing subject services and information resource services for higher vocational colleges. The construction of the "Double High Plan" has put forward new requirements for the service capacity of vocational libraries. Using online survey method, this study analyzed the current service status of 56 higher vocational colleges libraries selected as the first batch of "Double High Plan" from five aspects: conventional services,reading promotion, scientific research support, information system construction, and information literacy education. The shortcomings were pointed out, and suggestions were put forward to fully utilize new information technology, build multi-channel access methods, strengthen new media applications,reconstruct information literacy curriculum system, in order to provide reference basis for improving the service capacity of vocational college libraries. |
