In the context of the deepening of the rural revitalization strategy, the role of new rural elites is becoming increasingly prominent. Their participation in rural revitalization embodies the unity of historical, theoretical, and practical logic. From a historical perspective, the participation of new rural elites in rural revitalization not only inherits and develops hte traditional culture of new rural elites but also aligns deeply with the developmental needs of rural society in contemporary China. From a theoretical standpoint, the integration of "self-governance, rule of law, and moral governance" and the theory of multi-party collaborative governance, the theory of common prosperity provide the theoretical guidance and policy support for the involvement of new local talents in rural revitalization. From a practical standpoint, the imbalanced urban-rural development and the practical challenges in agricultural and rural development call for the return of new rural elites. Their intrinsic rural sentiments, the need for selfrealization of personal value, and the pursuit of personal interests also drive them to actively contribute to rural revitalization. |
