In 2020, the research group conducted a comprehensive online survey on the status of agricultural production and management, education and training for farmers, and the impact of COVID-19 epidemic on agricultural production. It is found that agricultural production in the suburbs of Beijing is mainly small-scale, the aging of farmers is serious, and farmers’ demand and willingness for education and training are great. Therefore, it is necessary to transform new ideas of education and training for farmers in the new situation. Training for farmers should be converted to online and live-broadcast teaching methods, education for farmers should not be suspended, so as to solve the urgent needs of production in the spring ploughing period under the shadow of COVID-19 epidemic. |
