      Characteristic towns are the important basis and new growth engine for rural revitalization. Tourism characteristic towns with tourism as the core industry are an effective way to promote industrial integration, promote the development of new urbanization and build beautiful villages, which opens up a new path for rural revitalization. By investigating the tourism characteristic town of longwantun Town Shunyi District in Beijing, this paper analyzes its problems, and proposes that tourism characteristic towns should take the development path of improving public services, creating a green environment, emphasizing the experience of tourism products, enriching interactive guidance of science and technology, and improving the talent system.
