      In order to promote rural revitalization strategy, it is important not only to improve farmers’ living standards from the material level, but also to improve their sense of gain, happiness and security from the spiritual level. The practice of civilization in the new era aims at constructing socialist spiritual civilization, which is a beneficial attempt and self-revolutionary means to promote the work of “agriculture, rural areas and farmers”in the new era. By combining with the practical experience of Qiongshan district, Haikou city, which is one of the first batch of pilot units for the construction of new era civilization practice center, this paper explores the methods of serving rural revitalization through civilization practice in the new era. It proposes to change the mindset of the masses and the mode of government services, so that all sectors of society can actively participate in the construction of rural revitalization, so as to promote the implementation of national overall layout “five-in-one”in rural areas and provide endogenous power for rural revitalization.
