| The ancient roads in western Beijing integrate commercial road, incense road and military road, in which the ancient commercial road attracts more attention because of its earliest rise and deepest cultural influence. There are many villages along the ancient commercial road, which are the important node of the ancient commercial road, the spatial carrier of the commercial travel culture, and the focus of promoting regional rural revitalization by tourism. By analyzing the typical villages along the ancient commercial road, such as Cuandixia, Lingshui village, Liuliqu village, Sanjiadian village and Weizishui village, etc., this paper finds out their common features, and puts forward the general strategies applicable to the overall tourism development of the villages along the ancient commercial road in western Beijing. |
