| The fruitful innovative results have been achieved in the process of agricultural
modernization in Yan'an, however, there are still some problems, for example, unclear identification of
intellectual property infringement, less numbers of infringement cases declared, and serious infringement
of agricultural intellectual property. The contradiction between the rapid increase of innovative
achievements and the insufficient protection of agricultural intellectual property is getting worse and
worse, which restricts the development of agricultural modernization. For example, farmers' awareness
of intellectual property protection is weak; the agricultural research institutes are not willing to declare
intellectual property; the illegal application of intellectual property in relevant agricultural enterprises is
serious; and it is weak for the government to supervise the illegal application of agricultural intellectual
property. Therefore, in order to advance the quantitative and qualitative of agricultural intellectual
property, promote the development of agriculture modernization in Yan'an, it is necessary to enhance
farmers or related agricultural enterprises' awareness of legally using intellectual property, encourage
agricultural research institutes to innovate, and improve the legal system construction of agricultural
intellectual property. |
