In order to study the growth and adaptive cultivation of Oxalis corymbosa DC
and Oxalis Martiana Zucc in Beijing area, a series of cultivation and propagation measures
were used for these two species. The experimental results show that the growth period of Oxalis
corymbosa DC and Oxalis Martiana Zucc is from April to November, their flowering period from
May to October. The ground parts of the plant will be dead under 0 ℃ , so in winter, the exposed
parts must be covered with mulch, or the carmus needs to put into a shed. The high temperature
is unfavorable to the growth of Oxalis corymbosa DC and Oxalis Martiana Zucc, slowing their
growth rates. The best planting period of Oxalis corymbosa DC is in July, and Oxalis Martiana
Zucc in April. These two kinds of Oxalis are most suitable for planting on sandy soil, secondly
on loess and sandy soil. For prolonging the flowering period, it should apply phosphorus and
potassium fertilizer in September; for promoting plant growth, it should apply nitrogen fertilizer
in October. For the Oxalis , the most common pest is the red spider. It is suitable for timely and
comprehensive spraying with strong endo-suction insecticides such as abamectin. |
