Most scholars believe that the land requisition system in China infringes upon the land
and property rights and interests of farmers, and should strictly define the land for public welfare and
commercial construction, allowing the latter to sell, lease, and share while retaining the nature of collective
ownership. The original intention of holding the above view is to promote social equity. However, the fact
is that the minority is allowed to permanently benefit, resulting in greater social injustice. It is necessary to
re-evaluate the reform path based on objective reality, understand the unique background of land system
innovation and the mistakes of policy research, and focus on improving the land acquisition system. |
