| With the conducting of reform and opening up policy and the development of the society, more and more attention has been paid to the phenomenon of religious beliefs in chinese rural areas. From the results of empirical research conducted in rural Jiangsu province, we can see the factors that influence the religious beliefs held by rural citizens include: area, occupation education level and marital status. We can also see the combined effect of the economic development, social status, education level, and sense of belonging beneath these researches. In order to help conduct the healthy development of religious activities smoothly, the government should develop the economy, pay more attention to cultural education, strengthen the legal construction and regulate the spread of religious culture, to make the religious culture a positive factor that help build a harmonious society |
